Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Per the enabling of my friend Jake (Jsega51) on here got this sweet little #15 clip in alongside a miniature painting done by my friend. She's the goose, I'm the moose. Found a goose feather on the way home from a day of moving house as well.

Love that talon Primble! especially the way it tapers with that swedge.

Haha yes indeed Steve. It's beautiful in every aspect.

Thank you. The long pull clip Boys knife is a great knife, especially for carry.:thumbup::)

Tim, the Clip #15 is an under-appreciated knife. fine looking clip....Same can be said of the speared Talon Primble...that is peanut butter ready!

Thank you Steve. :thumbup::)

Is that a new kind of Winterbottom Bone they're offering?
Thanks, Will

I got this one off the bay, so not sure, but seems to be brand new. As usual, the materials and covers are top notch, but the workmanship a little lacking. It is really handsome bone.

My husband loves the BUCK '55' that I gave him when I got out of ALL folding/pocket knives recently. He loves the Buck 110 knives too.

I sent him to a store here in town to pick up a second BUCK 55 for a spare on Monday evening. A back up knife in a '55'. They had a few in stock and I wanted to be sure that he did not have to wait for it.

He is still gifting and selling some more knives too.

His knife collection which is NOT really a collection like many of you have is getting smaller on purpose. He always used what he owned but as he is getting older - he is sticking to what he is using the MOST now too.

(He did this with all of his firearms too. Caliber consolidation. Reloading supplies, buying factory ammunition, etc. over the years not just when the so called fake, real and manipulated 'shortages' went on.)

Take care!

Cate

Got this Queen Scout a couple of weeks ago. Within days the shield fell out of this one and had to be re-glued.

Don't know what it is about Queen but I just can't get that excited about them. Somehow the design, profile, and lines just lack that certain sexiness. F&F are OK but not quite up to the standards I expect. This may be my last.

Sorry to hear that, addylo. I think that is a very attractive knife, if you don't mind my saying so.

This is one thing that I don't get about Queen. I have one of their Walnut Railsplitters and the shield is pinned. Makes me wonder why they pin some of their shields and not rest. I'm sure they have their reasons. It just seems odd to me. As far as I know, my Railsplitter is part of Queen's standard production line, same as your Scout.

The same thing happened to my father-in-law's recently purchased Queen peanut. It lasted one day in his pocket before the shield fell off.

Following you up here Kyle since we posted these in the "whatcha got on order thread." Here's the Dowell trapper I got in

Nice! The one I posted is actually the second Zulu this week. Of course the first had to find a new home because this one was the perfect size.

Well either way man, that's a nice one! I love when the swedge is almost drawn right through the nail nick.

Did you keep the small? I want one of those in the worst way.
No, I sold it to a buddy that had expressed interest when he saw it. I'm still on the fence with this new one. I'm so used to sheepsfoot blades, I feel weird carrying it lol.

A custom shop 112 Ranger w/FG and S30V steel with DW cherry wood handles. I've been in la la land for a day and a half now...
