Just picked up a GEC Northfield 66 with mammoth ivory scales. Picked it up from KSF and while the online pictures blew me away, in person it is even better. The scales have a bit of bark in them and in person, there are bits of blue in the ivory.

This knife is too pretty to use but I'm going to anyway. Owning a mammoth was always a grail for me. Owning one this cool was never a consideration.

I'll try to capture a few good pictures and post later.

Just received this NOS made in the USA Old Timer 93OT Wrangler. Someone posted a pic of this model elsewhere on the forum and it was love at first sight. I posted it next to my current favorite knife, the 66 Calf Roper Slim. I sure love those elegant clip point blades. They zip right through my apple a day.

Well, can't find an 85, but this Pal is pretty cool.

I have this and an ebony harness jack from Pal. Both really solid and I love the fat spear blades. I don't know much about Pal though. Apparently they took over Remington factory? Any other info anyone wants to share?

Bob, what pattern # is your new Barehead Jack ? Is it the same knife as in post 3342, but with a different master blade ?
thanks, kj

If I see another Williamette I know something..... :o :(

The want is strong on this one! How you liking it so far, Jeff?

Congrats on the acquisition!

Thanks! I have had my hands on it for maybe only 30 minutes so far, but it feels very nice in the hand. I think there was a pretty detailed review on here I read a few months back.

Great, keep us updated! I'll have to check out that review..... :)

Thanks Bob. I did not know that ivory was an option for the #15. I have a Northwoods Broadway Jack with ivory. Same frame i believe but a Barehead with an EO notch. I also have 2 #15's so i should have recognized it, although mine have a Sheepsfoot blade. Looks better with Spearpoint or Clip i think.
