Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

This ones not mine; it's a gift for my brother.

He's going to be thrilled Donn

He was over the moon. Not included in the picture was the one shilling piece I included in the box for him to give back to me. Unfortunately he can't carry a knife because of his work so this will definitely be a 'shelf queen'.

If you are a good brother, you will give him fresh air from time to time! (something like walking the dog) :D

the #83 yellow rose long pull drop point is my first drop point and works real well in this small LB

I have been looking for this pattern for some time. I found one in LG pearl a while back and read the LG didn't age well with use. This one should age better.

Thats a looker! Thats coconut palm right? I've been eyeing those courthouse whittlers for a while, I'm a sucker for whittler, especially when executed perfectly like GEC does it!

Thank you David and KP, I appreciate that.

The coconut palm is really nice, my first in that wood. Im curious to how it will age and turn. Time will tell. ;)

I have been slacking at adding to this thread. I was busy packing for camping, camping, and unpacking from camping. Anyway, these arrived before, during and after the trip. I finally got around to taking some pictures.

My Ontario M3 and RR tortoise shell trapper both turned up today .the RR is beautiful . and I am really liking the M3 but I do wish that Ontario would put a better Finnish on their leather handles . and bring them on par with KA-BAR .these are pics from the suppliers . I will put my own on tomorrow ....

I have a Camillus M3 Knife with the same finish in the leather. I think that was the way they were spec'd out to be. It could also be that the M3 was a rushed knife into combat that the handles were left rough.
