I don't think that bone is too light at all, frankly looks excellent. If GEC were to do sawn Ivory Bone it might turn out like that with age.

It's a looker for sure, really like the shield and wood combo. Blade is not perfectly centered, but close. Spring is just a hair proud at open, but I think is will settle to flush as it breaks in. Blade is paper slicing sharp. All is all, a nice value and I am very pleased.
