Also got a few SAKs in today...
mail call 10-21.jpg

Looking them over, I see old and new Mountaineers, 2 Gran Prix, 84mm Master Craftsman. LNF Champion, Rangers, 120 Wenger, Huntsman, couple of Fisherman, Spartan, Foresters, Backpackers, Wenger Fishing knife, BSA, EVO, 2015 LE Pioneer, Shredder, Snife, Boker Scout/Camp....etc.

The Schrade and Schrade-Walden 881Y is a knife that showed up ++ after Schrade closed in 2004. I think some are original Schrade production, and others are post closure assembled at Camillus and then: Taylor Schrade had some made 'off shore' but they look identical to the USA ones.
Maybe post it in Schrade forum and see if Hal or Codger can give more accurate info. My conclusions come from watching this pattern on ebay from 2006-2008.

Thanks kj. Both my 881Y's were bought out of an older collection that included my Case Bros Sowbelly, that Case Jack and Whaler (both above). My first 881Y (bought from the same seller) was posted and well received over in the Schrade forum so maybe they're ok. It's stamped Schrade N.Y. U.S.A. which was a tang stamp that was used starting in '72.

Did some research - '73 - '76 I believe.

If the 881Y knives had been in a collection since prior to 2004 then they are Schrade made for sure. I have a few 881Y but have not looked at them for a few years. Too many knives, not enough time.

Mine arrived as well Tim. I had no idea how thin the cadet is! Thank you for spending my money! :D

I had to get one, too, after seeing Tim's. I went with the Pioneer. Hasn't arrived yet, though.

Yea, I guess you did get a few! Nice haul Robert! :D Your latest editions are very nice too, I didn't know they did a BSA version.

SAK, i would like to see the Farmer & Pioneer with blades open. Is a "Danish Farmer" a blue Farmer ? or different 'tools' ?

It's just the scale color along with the red shield...same tools common to all Farmers.

They are stored in the collection box right now with heavy storms over us...maybe next week I can get them back out or here's the seller's pic of the Farmer. The Pioneer has the special scale color and "2015" etched on the back.
