Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Found this in my mailbox today. Nice tight knife with great snap all around.

got the exact same one in my pocket. mine is minus bail and blade logo-watch the bail then because that tightness- could be why mine broke? It was like that when I got it so it's hard to say.

Even the bail is tight. Easy to rotate yet doesn't budge under the weight of the knife.

Thanks for the heads up, meako. I haven't carried this one yet but when I do I plan to remove the bail. Blasphemy I know but this will ride in the bottom of my pocket and I don't use lanyards. The hole that's left behind will look odd but that's ok.

A few weeks ago I gave away the Grohmann #2 Trout and Bird I found at a gun show not long ago. About 10 days ago I ordered a Grohmann #3 Canadian Army Knife. Arrived in the mail Saturday. This one goes with my 3-day pack. Looking forward to using it.

Very nice, leghog. I've never owned a Grohmann but they've been on my short list for awhile, either a sheath knife or a folder. I hope yours does the job for you.

+!!!!! Very nice...been looking at that model for a while....how does it fit your hand?

Gary I advise you to test a Grohmann , odd looking knives but in hand they work so well. My Bird&trout in stainless makes a decent carry, good for fishing, food prep, firesticks and likely small game if you hunt. Nor is it heavy in a small knapsack.

Here's the latest recruit, completely satisfies me and I'm a choosy type:eek::D:D

(Just a note: I don't think that blade-centering is a big selling point on the What-A-Knife.) :)

David, you have beautiful knives...just in case I haven't mentioned it before;):D

Always enjoy your posts:thumbup:

David, is the lovely knife you are holding made by Randy Lee ?
kj
Edit to add: i have a What-A-Knife which i got before Camillus closed (2007). It gets as sharp as any blade i own. Blade is thin so it's a super slicer.

Nice Gary, looks like a stout working knife:cool: Great blade shape:thumbup:

Thanks, Paul. :) I haven't used them much yet, but I think they'll be able to take whatever I dish out (as long as my demands are not out of control :p).
