Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Love it Jeff. I have a weakness for the Frank Busters too. I know some folks don't like those blade etches, but I think they're fun!

Thanks, cc, I do love the bling! The nicks are nice and big, the bone is terrific, pulls are a perfect 5, they're just great knives.

Here are a couple fine examples of natural stag that just came in today. The Yankee is nice, but I really love the workhorse. I bought the workhorse blind, but Mike said he would look at it and if he didn't think I'd like it, he wouldn't send it. He did right by sending it! Thanks Mike!

Eric - That is a great pair of Stags! You won't go wrong Totin either one, both are wonderful patterns!

Picked up a Winchester branded gunstock jack from the mid to late '70s, undoubtedly made by Olbertz in Solingen, Germany. All the same styling and build cues as the Frank Buster Fight'n Rooster knives from the same factory: i.e. proud pins, scalloped and raised covers, deep bone jigging, blunt spear nose and multi-color etching on the main blade. A very nice knife, 1 of 1000.

Jeff - a terrific Winchester!

arrival of a WLST
I particularly like this one for the satin blade and deeply jigged/gouged brown covers with a light gradient.

I do not think that I ever posted these in this thread. They were waiting or me when we returned from Yellowstone.

Tim, that's a beauty! I've owned a couple of the #25s, and they're too small for me, but that one of yours is a great combo of blades and covers.

Snagged another Boker 940 last month....it's used with a big difference. :D

My orig from the early 80's on top.

The bale (bail ?) was switched to the other end. Your first one with bail at the master end is the unusual one.

Thank you Jeff, this is my second and I'm still heads or tails on 25's but I do really enjoy the jigging on this one. They're the perfect 'collection knife' imo. "cute", sturdy and great construction.

Just got home from the AKI, and had this waiting for me. It will be like Christmas in the morning. :D

Ok, here they are. The osage orange covers are much nicer than I expected. My first in this material. I got two, thinking I may want one as a user. We'll see if I can make myself do it.
