Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

This arrived very recently a nice Vic Garden Knife courtesy of Jone with a Buffalo Quarter and sheath. I gathered the last of the summer field flowers, poppies, cornflowers, nasturtium and daisy with it. Thank you Jennifer, you are very kind.

Glad to see it is being put to good use. It needed a good workout before winter! Enjoy, my friend, and hope you are feeling much better. Did I read somewhere that you had a 79 Workhorse on the way? If so, I'd love to see it when it arrives.

All the best,
Jennifer

Jennifer, seek and you will find.

The usual postman turned up on his bike today, just a bill....Sank/shrank back into my sick-bed in touchy despair, no knife. Doorbell rings an hour or two later, shuffle to the door...another postman but this time in a van, special delivery! YES!!!!

Just to prove it wasn't all flu induced hallucination I snapped a pic. First class quality in construction, wonderful aura. This helped me get (somewhat...) better, going back to work tomorrow will not exactly be wonderful...

Many thanks, Will

Will,

The wait was worth it! That is a beauty! That spear blade is amazing! Glad it arrived safely. Can't wait to hear more about it when you've had a chance to enjoy it in good health!

Thanks,
Jennifer

Picked this up today at a local dealer. My first Case in this pattern, think it will be a keeper.

Wow! That's a gorgeous pair, Will! Congrats.

Nice choice, I have one in a lighter shade of bone (I can't remember what the call it at the moment). It gets scary sharp, and makes for a nice, light pocket companion.

Cards 94- It's a Mini Copperlock, Caramel Bone with As Ground stainless blade satin finish.

I've loved every knife on the #79/#78 frame so far, their more-substantial elegance. Yours is a beaut.

Nice. What model is that? Case back pocket?

It's a Copperlock, whether Mini or full-sized I can't tell without an object for scale. Case's Copperlock is a favorite of their patterns, no matter the size. I love its lines....

Dan P., Will is definitely correct (he usually is!) about your gorgeous teardrop. The dark wood is like museum grade furniture, and that is just the start. The fantastic swedging, long pulls (even the pen's nick is looooong) and the full, bright blades add to this being a show stopper. Huge congrats and  .

That's a great looking mini copperlock. I bet it'll get plenty of pocket time. I might have to check out your local dealer. ;). Great choice. Enjoy.

it IS a beautiful copperlock.
i ASSUME its a stainless model? or did you find and old carbon steel copperlock?

Thanks Jennifer for your comments, the only other lockback I own is a Buck 110 that I was gifted in 1992 as a member of a wedding party. that one has never been carried.
Rsmith_77 thanks for the compliment, yes it is stainless but as ground, Case dosen't tumble or polish the blades & they have a nice satin appearance with nice sharp corners
on the blade swedge & spine. It also dosen't show the fingerprints like the polished stainless will.

Thanks everybody for your enthusiasm over my Workhorse. I'm deeply impressed by its finish and it has the aura of an antique knife that has just left the bench, as it were. The polish is what I would think is near crocus, could shave in it-or with it it's acutely sharp. Mind you, that crocus is soon going to get transformed...:D Quite a big knife but no house-brick in the pocket type of thing. Been after one for ages then my dealer fixed me up, he's very clever at that.

The CASE Mini-Copperlock is a versatile and attractive lock-back. I have this stag version which was frankly hideous :barf: until I gave it a tea-bath...it's that kind of bizarre stag that has no bark, very thin at the bolsters but with this massive great hump in the middle giving it the profile of a big snake that's eaten something else very big! But actually it's become much used as it's thick and offers good grip in use, won't win any beauty contests for sure. Decent Clip blade on those and it is useful to have a lock when you go prodding about the garden...I know, use a slipjoint properly etc. but we all have lapses and I've always liked a locking Traditional. OK back to work, can I remember what to do???:confused::eek::cool:

Excellent find there Lemmy.
I like that Tidioute shield, what I call a 'corset' style. Got a 25 and 73 with it.
Be nice if somebody started a Show Your Various Shields thread.....:)
