Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Very nice John !!!!!

Harry

Thanks Harry! I thought I'd get a set of the Red Brick line since my house has red bricks. BTW, I did manage to get a Rogers Walnut stockman sent to me. I'll be sure to post pics as soon as it arrives. :D

Nice set of Case's.

Thanks, Deltaboy! I know you are waiting to see my Ultra Violet stockman. It actually arrived, but due to technical issues I had to send it back for a replacement. I'll post pics when the new one arrives. No issue at all with the dealer to get a replacement :)

You are welcome John . I try to be a good enabler .

That's a VERY cool looking knife, Charlie! Although I don't really have a purpose for a large blade like that, seeing yours makes me want to get one anyway!

Here's more to tempt you...

This came in from England this week. Poor photo due to lack of daylight, but it is a very nice blue-grey colour, kind of Milky Way effect

Great looking knife! But damn! Every time I see a picture of a Buck fixed blade, it pushes me one step closer to the edge of buying one. I don't even hunt :confused:

Go ahead and get a Buck Knife - you can follow up later with the deer rifle, the hunting gear, the deer lease, and the hunting license - the knife is the inexpensive part!! OH
Ps thanks for the compliment.

If Jack's handle today is the Sunshine then yours is the Aurora Borealis ! Awesome knife, Will :thumbup: Looking forward to see more of this one

Ramrod, The one I bought was made in July 2014 per the date on the label (there is still a decent number of them available on the internet). I know one special run in D2 was made a couple of years ago for SMKW (those knives now long gone), not sure about what other distributors ordered them and when. I know they were not made as a normal catalog item for Buck's general distribution. OH

Thanks gents! It certainly is an eye-catcher. Our Northern Lights here in Finland are a bizarre ever changing thing from second to second, coming seemingly from nowhere, but they're almost always green, really phosphorescent too. This horn handle is reminiscent of the bloom you get on a really nice bunch of dark grapes. I feel lucky for sure!

Are you above the arctic circle?

Gev No, 63 degrees lat and about 380 km/ 240 miles from the Polar Circle. Too close for comfort:eek: The Marttiini puukko factory is in Rovaniemi and that's up there in Lapland on the Arctic Circle. Most northerly knife works, probably:D

Yes, that is a little close I would say  I was just doing a little research on your country and things really change on the circle. I did not know that fact about the factory...very interesting. Thanks, Will
