All three are Very NICE Alan. I too like the Navy knife. I have a canvas Micarta version I removed the bail on for a work knife. Single blade is great but I wouldn't object if made with a pen blade secondary.

Charlie's SFO is just a stunning knife, best jigged bone in sometime and the detail to bail and bolster is a huge:thumbup:
 
This Winchester Cartridge Series 4-blade sowbelly in burnt orange bone arrived last week. It came with several blade rubs from the previous owner, but it's still a cool knife. The bone on these is really nice (to me anyway!).

Yep. I agree. I like them all so far. The detail on the Navy is just great! I may buy a Micarta one just as a desk knife. I noted that one of our AD's has a few of them without bales in 440C.

I don't know why you like it Alan , but I like it because of the worked bolster and worked bail and it has probably the best jigged bone that GEC has ever done.

Added : That being said : The Washington Jack IMO is the very classiest looking knife that GEC has done .

Could not agree more Harry. From what I have and have seen I think the Navy SFO has some of the best metal work and best bone so far. Of course, I don't have them all but I also see what I see on the forums.

I love the Washington Jack. Very classy. That probably explains some why I like the Wall Street so much too? I like that straight, thin (or somewhat thin) line and the threaded or "struck" bolster.

Thanks! Who knows, but it could be possible. The pitting is deep indeed partially, but the close up pictures make it bit more dramatic than it is I guess. I hope the knife will be fine despite this, and it will be carried only on Sunday type of gentle(man) carry. :)
I did little bit of cleanup and oiling for the joints so I hope it will give this knife a bit more refreshment. :)

Thank you Steve. I like that one a lot too. A little disappointed in how light the bone was compared to the rendering, but it's certainly a great knife. Case can step it up when the plan to charge $500;)

It's the form factor, the informed lineage, the extraordinary bone, the non-threatening, pinchable uniqueness of the full-length yet snubby blade, the details of worked bolster and bail, all adding up to a knife greater than the whole.
