Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

That's a beauty John. Love those Case/Bose collaborations.

I almost wish they weren't that nice, as now I have to start saving for the NEXT one

Thanks John: I like it. Some guys on another thread said they would not buy it because of this shield? Didn't matter to me, but I like the shield and it's one of the reasons I went with it.

They didn't like the shield??? Wow!:confused: I'd buy just because of the shield, as well!

Did not make sense to me either. Something about it not looking like an oak leaf? It's an oak leaf for sure.

It looks better than "pretty good".

Thanks Alan. I guess it does? Scales are a little thicker on one side than the other, but I guess that's to be expected? I have to figure out how to post smaller photos. I think I'm eating up forum bandwidth. Using Imgur and I have resized, but they still post as huge!. Got to go figure that one out.

Alan, the gnarly elk covers look fantastic! And Mike, the yellow Case is a classic! I have a sowbelly thing, too, ten in all, and just added this 4-blade last week.

^^ Nice one Jeff! I haven't ventured farther down the hole than the 3 blade versions, although there have been more than a few 4-5 blade ones that have caught my eye ;)

Now I understand what all the fuss is about. My first GEC Scout knife arrived today. Maroon Micarta Beer Scout. I could not be more pleased!

Thanks Jeff; I'm liking it and thinking it will be a carry for me for awhile. Not a safe queen. I like that recent sow belly of yours. It's very "rich" looking. Mike has some beauties there also. I'm not big on multiblades but I sure can appreciate them as pretty pieces of hardware.

GEC Crown Lifter arrived (at long last) today. Can't show any pix but I think this is going to be my favourite 15 of all time. Why? Well, it's extraordinary in its finish, tight all steel construction, so no brass smell.. backspring lets in no light, ends of the springs rounded and cut off cleanly, blades centre, and the Antique Yellow jigged is quality and well radiused, much prefer NOT having any bail - they just impede pocket carry & can get jammed under the blade during closing. The long Sheepfoot makes for a versatile blade, then there's the screwdriver crown lifter..;)

I don't much like those threads about, if you only had one knife, or use only one knife for a year :roll eyes: (I like knives, that's why I'm here :D) but, I certainly could manage to do a lot with this Crown Lifter. Well pleased!

Some nice Stag added to your collection Alan .
I like the 47 but the only Stag I have on a 47 is the Pruner .
Would like for GEC to make more like yours.
Congrats on your find my friend !!!
