Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Thanks! I'm really happy with both of them.
The fixed is actually stabilized walnut, with brass pins. Looks great and feels great to me. I can't wait to put it to use!

I bet ! Congrats it's a beauty [emoji106]

I went to a knife show today and I actually stuck to my resolution of not buying any knives in 2017. However, I did come home with this Tuna Valley Cattleman.

Jeff (black mamba) and I were standing in front of the Queen booth looking at some of Jeff's knives. I had been talking to Ryan Daniels and when Jeff walked up my wife continued the conversation with Ryan while I was checking out Jeff's knives. My wife bought this Tuna Valley for me while she was literally standing right next to me. Jeff and I were so preoccupied that I didn't even notice my wife buying the knife and I don't think Jeff did either.

She surprised me with the knife when we got back home. What a gal! The knife is great too!

My newest additions. The KaBar was purchased from an awesome forum member and the Case was purchased online. The whittler would be one of very few 3 bladed knives and I have been wanting to give them a try since I mostly carry single and sometimes double bladed traditionals. The case is one I have been eyeing for quite some time and decided to jump on it.

Picked this Esky Zulu up on the Exchange (for a reasonable price) a week or so ago. I love this knife. The size, the blade shape, the way it rides in my pocket...I couldn't be happier.

That's a beautiful knife, and you are a VERY lucky guy!

Thank you, John. Renee can be very sneaky about these things sometimes. I still can't believe she pulled this off without me noticing but I'm glad she did.

I certainly did NOT notice her buying the knife. In fact, we even looked at the cattleman and fondled it . . . she is a sly one!

Thanks, guys. I'm soooo tempted to carry the TV but I'm going to hold off for now. Maybe someday though.

That's a really nice one Rick! I'm sure it's even more special to you since your wife surprised you with it!

Picked this little Peanut sized J.A. Henckels and Schrade barlow yesterday . SWMBO also wanted me to get the old thread spool cabinet to store some of my knives in . The others really are just about full and I do have 1 on the way , 1 being made in Sheffield , and 1 more committed for .
J.A. Henkels in Stag

Schrade barlow has great Walk & Talk but is a little Over Cleaned IMHO

The spool cabinet should hold about 80 knives and is in very nice shape.

Very cool Harry. Amazing what you can find out there to store pocket knives. I expect to have my old humidor back from being modified next week. It should hold 60 to 70 knives.

Thanks Alan : Did you ever get the tobacco smell out of the humidor ?? I am looking forward to see what it looks like .
Nancy has 2 spool cabinets for keeping some of her STUFF in and they are handy . This will keep some of my knives in the dark so they do not have some color fade from the light.

Well the spool cabinets are a great idea. I don't have much space in our little rowhouse. Maybe that's a good thing?

I don't know much of the cigar smell will come out. I have a guy making four trays where before there were two. I also bought some activated charcoal pouches I'm going to try. My goal is to keep it in my study but also keep the SWMBO happy.

Of course I will bump my post about with new photos when it gets here. Thanks my friend.
