Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Just in, a cougar clawed bone #74. I was too slow to get a dark one, but found a more reddish-brown that I liked a lot.

Looks nice to me!

Thanks guys. It actually is more yellow than my 83 which I thought was great. I'll get another set of pics up soon Harry.

Here's a set of the mark and pile side. Sun is down so these were done with flash. I'll get natural light pics up tomorrow. There is a little darkening on the butt end, but nothing troubling.

I like it! It seems very consistent side to side.

This just arrived today and EVERYTHING about it is near perfect. Solid and centered blade, gorgeous carved Stag Bone and a lock up that just sounds great:thumbup:

Yes, the color is pretty consistent on both sides. Looking at the last photo it's a little over saturated.

Very nice Paul.

Paul,
Real nice looker, the bone stag looks great!

Alan and Mitch, thank you both. It's just a very fine liner lock. Had to work the D2 blade a bit but well worth the time. Razor sharp and I love the durabilty D2 possesses for holding an edge:thumbup:

Paul
That copperhead is a beauty! Very unique. Love everything about it.

Ben
I 'd say that was one heck of a day...wow. The wharncliffe trapper is oh so nice

I'm thrilled with this $5 find. It's a whittler, nothing cracked or broken, great walk and talk, half stops on the secondary blades. My question is this- for some reason it has carnauba wax all over it. Can I boil the knife without fear of damaging anything? I'm worried about discoloring the blades. Is there a better way to clean hard wax off it it?
