Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Haha GT, and I thought the opposite when I saw the white bone, don't mar that beautiful smooth slab! But however the spirit moves as they say, let us know how it goes.

I like the blue canoe too, the Masonic symbol adding a bit of mystique.

Nice additions 5K Qs 5K Qs ! I've got a white bone RR112 peanut which got a nice oiled bone look like my GEC #14 ivory bone after I oiled it extensively when the scales seemed to have shrunken a bit. I like it al lot and it has me looking for more white bone Rough Riders. You've got a great specimen!

Another one today! First of two .38 Specials coming to me.

Don't know where my manners are!?! I posted some new knives in this thread early this week one night when I couldn't sleep, and apparently never checked back after the next morning to see if anyone had any comments or questions. :(

I agree 5K Qs 5K Qs You should just "do it" as the ads say.
Thanks for the encouragement, Alan. :) If you had any idea of the LACK of artistic talent I have, you might not be such an enthusiastic supporter of my undertaking a scrimshaw project!

Thanks for your interest, Tom; I appreciate the comments!

Thanks, zolthar! :) Your peanut looks great; I have many RR knives, but not a single peanut IIRC. That's something I should change. I hope you get more white bone you like. I also have a white bone marlin spike knife that looks good to me:

Very nice 25, Alan! Is that a "stock" drop point, or has it been modified to some extent?

I recently picked up this Cognet l'Ecureuil with the Squirrel logo. It's made by the same French company that makes Douk-Douks. My Douk-Douk is the smaller of 2 versions they make, but this l'Ecureuil is massive (4.25" closed) with a big carbon steel spearpoint blade and an aggressive halfstop. I've been happily using it in the kitchen this week.

It's an original drop point Gary. I received it in a trade with Paul (pmew) who got it in a trade with Alan (AKC).

r redden r redden Randy, that is a nice Viper. Those were some of the last ones to disappear from the 2014 production run. I could kick myself every time I see one of these posted because I lolly gagged around and missed them! Congratulations, it's a super knife, I hope you enjoy the pattern! :D
