Next is what I've been waiting for.... Dave (Horsewright) made me this beauty ! His bird and trout called Tapadero. Smooth Camel bone with damascus blade. The feel of this knife in my hand is amazing. Thank you Dave, it's perfect.

6D107EC0-3F3D-4E31-A3F4-378B3E9CD9A9.jpeg I’m quite a few knives behind as far as posting my newest traditionals. However, this one definitely merits posting in my opinion as it pairs nicely with its slightly bigger sibling. Just arrived today, a single clip blade TC in red jigged bone along side its sibling, a clip/pen, both with nail nicks and both from 2014.

A 3 3/4" Buck Creek half congress in stainless and stag, a single spring design with sheepsfoot and pen blades.
The fit and finish are very good. The blades nest very close, yet don't rub. The only real negative was that while the blades came reasonably sharp, the edge angle was very obtuse. It took a session on a diamond hone to bring the angles down to 20° per side. Still working on the end of the pen blade.

3 3/4" is a bit longer than I like to carry, but the knife is so thin that it works for me. Pen and sheepsfoot are one of my favorite combinations. And I like that both blades are opened by the right hand. It bothers me no end to have to open one of the blades on a two bladed knife with my left hand. (Case, please listen.)

(One of these days, I need to spend some time fussing with photo uploading. In the meantime, bother.)

Nice one Ti! I believe I saw this one on the exchange. I agree 10fingers 1 10fingers . I got an abalone Case recently that I posted here. Your newest addition:traditionals of course! Under a good light the colors and depth are without equal.
The features are endless. We have got Titanium bolsters, Titanium liners, Titanium screws, and an M-390 stainless blade. The maintenance is negligible. The edge holding is superb. The screw together construction allows cleaning and lubrication of the pivot.
When the sun comes out, I will shoot a picture of the other side of the handle. This thing looks as good as Paua.

Every one's a winner these past few pages!

Bugdoc Bugdoc i remember seeing your case when Gary posted it in the echange and i do believe i uttered WOW! out loud:)
Yes, of course you did, and thank you. I still say WOW to myself (sometimes even out loud:)) every morning when I look at it.

I agree with Harry, that's one heck of a knife Paul.:thumbsup:

Ti, I have an early reserve on a natural Micarta... Can't wait.o_O I liked the look of the black CF but have reservations about damaging the CF: wish it were G10.

Mine today. I've had an eye out for a Buck 300 series every since I first laid eyes on one. Found this on the exchange last week. Going into the oil bath after I hit Post.
