Crown Cutlery Co. made in Germany / Austria 1910s / 1920sVisiting the parents in the big city for Christmas. Found an antique store that was unfortunately closing down. Found a couple beautiful old knives at clearance prices though! An IXL and a Crown Cutlery. The IXL is used but with an edge reprofiling is in rexcellent working condition! The Crown is more worn with a couple chips but sports beautiful jigged bone and lots of life left. Complete with original pocket lint. Any info, especially on the Crown is welcome.![]()

Great looking knife! Is that a split back? Delrin? -LanceReceived this practically unused 1999 Moore Maker #5306 Whittler yesterday. It's a size I like, has the right blade shapes and has a great snap on all three blades. I think this will turn out to be a favorite.
I couldn't find any pics of a black version online, but the Moore Maker customer service (great service, very prompt reply) confirmed it was a limited run.

Christmas gift from my wife and boys, though at 2-1/2 yrs and 3 months old I doubt they were much help in picking it out. Ha! Helped open a couple dinosaur packages though.
I know what will be in my pocket next Christmas!
