Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Thank you very much, Paul and Michael!! Never thinking I would find one, this is my new fav! Great snap and tension, perfect centering of the blade too. I'm pretty giddy over it!

Some thin panel yet poppy and groovy stag . The F&F on this knife is magical.

Love the color Will, and you're right, GEC is really making these #99s nice! Using some fantastic stag on the covers.

Beautiful workmanship on that one, Will. A question though: with the blade closed can you see light between the lockbar and the cutout for it?

Used the Coppersmith that arrived yesterday to open this new package, a GEC #33 Conductor in burnt stag. Special thanks to Parke1 for selling it to me. ;)

I'm a sucker for single spring knives.

Haven't cut anything with it, since I got it two days before leaving for my holidays..yet I don't need to use it to know how much I like these knives. The only thing I'm curious of, is how the handle material will behave with humidity, since the dyed wood feels a bit different than "regular" Opinels :)

Appreciate that Jeff! Well, after holding it up to my desk-lamp, I can't see anything except the outline of the knife, no light anywhere!

The reason I ask, Will, is that I had an S&M lockback where there was a gap between the lockbar and the frame/covers. Even though a long shot, something could have gotten wedged in there and prevented the knife from opening or closing. I figured it was a design flaw, not poor workmanship. Glad to hear the GECs are not like that.

Well, I had a successful sale of some traditionals, so decided to pick up another Frank Buster Celebrated Fight'n Rooster for the growing collection. Pinned shield, proud domed pins and gorgeous jigged bone. It has some gray patina on the tangs, but otherwise it's mint new. An extremely well made knife.

Jeff, the bone on that is spectacular, well worth re-assessing the collection for. Great to see a Coping blade on board that pattern too.

Many thanks, Will.

Was fortunate to acquire this recently and just got it this afternoon. Absolutely perfect in every way! The Rosewood slabs are hard to photograph but are gorgeous in person. The fit and function of these TC GEC Barows is incredible.
