• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

The dogleg I had was O1. I don't know why but his knives are seriously underappreciated. They don't seem to trade like some others do. That's a loss to those who think that way.
I couldn't agree more. The Dog Bone I have is the most solidly built slippie I've ever handled. Thankfully I think I'm going to be able to withdraw it from sale and keep it in the rotation. It's a little big knife.

I just picked up this Rough Rider #106 split-back whittler and I'm looking forward to making some wood shavings with it. This is my second copy of this knife. The first one has a really light spring -- so much so that I found it annoying to use. (Trying to pivot the blade off the opposite thumb or putting my opposite thumb behind the blade to give a controlled push, the blade would start to fold.) This one is just about right.

Bought this'un on the way to the job this morning, after realizing due to being in a rush I left home without a pocket knife  Doh! 34OT, this is the first Taylor Schrade I've gotten that has minor flaws. Things that nobody but us knife nuts notice. The main blade spring is a teeny bit proud, there is a burr on the delrin on one side where it meets the bolster. The biggest "defect" is the sheeps foot has a tiny amount of wobble. But these are all very minor nit picky things imo. For a $15-20 user working knife its a great buy I think. On the plus side the clip has the finest most acute point I've ever seen, good for pesky splinters;) think this one is going to reside in a pocket on my tool bag, for a back up.

I haven't bought a new (current manufactured) Case in quite awhile. I did learn of a pattern here in the Traditional Sub-forum sometime back that I was unaware of - the Case 27 pattern penknife in the Stockman pattern. Finally saw a 6327 this past week in the Case display at a small engine repair shop (they have a very nice selection of Case Knives). At any rate I have one now to pair with my Case 6333 (same size/configuration penknife but with square bolsters). This Case 6327 is virtually identical in size and configuration to the old Schrade USA 108OT. OH

I really like that one. Thanks for sharing it as I was unaware of it too.

Went into a pawn shop beside where I ate lunch, they had this 110 in the case for $29.95 which I thought was a pretty good deal. But when I asked the guy to look at it he hands it to me while I was CE&CF it he says " I'll take 15 for it", I said "I'll take it" lol.
Its a 2012 but still new with a factory edge still. Only odd thing is its nearly completely black on one side and shows good grain on the other. I think its cocobolo. Never had cocobolo before so I'm not sure.
