Taylor Schrade 16OT
Picked up a couple new made Schrades today, to good a deal to pass up. 10 each on clearance. Fit'n'Finish and walk'n'talk really good on both, except 16OT bit gritty. No play or wobble in either, everything flush and centered.124 is probably a 6 pull, and snaps positive open and shut. 16OT hawkbill is a solid 8 very positive snap on open, really strong spring on this one. Snaps closes to. Opening it a bit tough and gritty just before it cams open. I haven't flushed and oiled yet, so that's bound to improve.
Edit: the 124 came with a really nice belt pouch, good thick leather. Its every bit as good as the pouches on my older Schrades or the Buck 110s pouch.
Congratulations on the score. Nice pair.

I eyeballed that knife hard when it appeared on the exchange. Glad somebody picked it up and put me out of my misery, seemed like a great knife at a decent price.

Just rescued this 97OT from a pawn shop today.

Nice rescue! I like the yellow sawcut delrin. I usually have good luck at pawn shops, good thing most will haggle on the price and you can end up with a great deal

What a jewel! Looks like pale jade.

I picked up a 71 from the exchange to replace the sobuster jr. I was confiscated back in the summer at a theme park. It is the first GEC I've had that is flush in all three positions (not that it matters to me). It also has the firmest pull I've had on a GEC. I kept telling myself not to buy it, but it kept sitting on the exchange teasing me. I really like the muslin. Thanks again, @muzeONE

Thanks Joshua. I really am enjoying it. And out of all the 71's I've had my favorite is the muslin. I love everything about the bullnose. It's small yet beefy and strong. All I've had have snapped hard and been rock solid. And they come in so many gorgeous handles I've accumulated more than I will ever use but everyone I've ever gifted one to was thrilled when they opened the tube. :)

Before getting this 71 I had a large Case sodbuster in navy delrin, but it was a little too big. Then I got a Case sodbuster jr., and it was better, but just a smidge too small. However, the 71 hits the sweet spot in between. I had been using my Lionsteel Shuffler for outdoor work because it is stainless, sharp, and tough. However, I may use this 71 during the few months where the humidity isn't high here.

Wurrwulf Wurrwulf , it was my pleasure to work you and share some fun. I will try and get photos up of my latest acquisitions.
I got my photos up in the latest acquisition under the general discussion forums.

Update, got the pic here too now.

Looking good! Enjoy them, and I hope to hear your thoughts on them once they get a few rounds of use.

This Moore Maker Trapper Linerlock with Smooth Black Bone covers came in from knifeswapper knifeswapper (Mike at CK) this afternoon. The knife was manufactured in 2009 by either Queen or Camillus. The fit and finish is very, very, well done (i.e., cover to bolster transition, centered blades, and tight lockup with no blade wobble or blade play). As mentioned, the clip blade locks in the open position and the linerlock is well done. In addition to the shield on the mark side, there is a blank shield on the pile side. All-in-all, a very nice knife. Oh, there's just a touch of blade rub on the spey blade but I think I did that myself by pushing the liner lock over with more force than I needed to to release the lock. The knife is also serialized with 032 being the serial number.
