Not a wood fan historically but the ebony on the 44 is my favorite by far. Pure classTo all of you enablers out there, (You know who you are) Thanks!I kept seeing all of your beautiful 44s, and reading all of your thoughts regarding them, and could no longer resist. I picked one up, after initially passing, and I’m really glad that I did.

Nice Allen, cool gold shield made by Schrade for Olsen.
It was made by Schrade Allen. Nice knivesA small Camillus .22 Hornet lockback and a large Remington bullet shield lockback both with jigged delrin (I think) and a 3 1/4" Olsen stockman that I believe was made by Camillus (correct Brian?) I Itsmebsh and Stuart @Duckdog

Thanks Brian. Always go to the source! It was made by Schrade Allen. Nice knives
Dwight, is this a GEC or? It sure checks my want list.
I apologize for not identifying it Dave. It's a Jeff Mitchell custom I picked up off the exchange. Overall length 3 5/8", blade length 2 5/8". Giraffe bone and CPM-154. It is a very well made knife and "secondary" price was very reasonable. Same here, it checked a lot of boxes.Dwight, is this a GEC or? It sure checks my want list.![]()
