I happened to run into a guy at work who got one of the new forum knives. He let me take it for a spin. It's very well put together; nice walk and talk. The elk covers are beautiful, as are the bolsters. Nice fit n finish. I hesitated handing it back.2018 Forum knife!

Good-looking stockman. The Saddle Shop also stocks (no pun intended) some Case knives with the Running W brand that are pretty nice. While enroute to the King Ranch in south Texas a couple weeks ago I stopped off in Kingsville to the King Ranch Saddle shop and bought one of these Queen made Moore Maker jumbo stockman just as a momento/collectible. Lo and behold it’s the best fitting stockman my hand has ever held, I loved it in hand, needed to be sharpened so I put on the back burner as I am in the middle of a move.
So the other day I was needing some things while prepping the new house and decided to stop into the local small town feed store just to see if that had any of the things I needed (the fact they had a big Case knife sign in the window had nary a thing to do with the stop). Well, they had the biggest selection of Moore Maker knives I’d seen in a long time. And they had the jumbo stockman sans King Ranch Branding. I refrained, but today I gave in while doing yet more work. Touched up the edge and it will be in my pocket for a bit. Until the next one comes along..... maybe longer.

They don't get any better than that. Congratulations on your win and what a wonderful photo. The Ebony TC Barlow that I won in @chiefs Good Deeds Giveaway came in today. It's a beautiful knife and I can not thank him enough for holding such a generous giveaway. The photo is of my Daughter and I holding it, without her big heart i would not have won. This is now a family heirloom and one day it will be hers.
Eventually you run out of superlatives. Congrats Alan, just wonderful.John Lloyd Amber Stag Sowbelly at 3 3/4".
They sure do Vince. It was a tough decision. The fact they probably won’t be getting anymore Queen made Moore Makers was the deciding factor.Good-looking stockman. The Saddle Shop also stocks (no pun intended) some Case knives with the Running W brand that are pretty nice.
That’s sweet right there Jeff!Josh, I have an older one myself, and although I don't carry it too often, I would hate to part with it.

Came home to find a new Bull Nose in my mailbox, which was a huge surprise as I've not ordered oneA note wrapped around the tube soon set things straight, I've been a victim of more of the famous porch generosity! I couldn't be more happy
my first GEC! Sodbuster type patterns have always been a favorite of mine
I'm pretty sure the sender wouldn't want me to make a big fuss, so I'll just say Thank you my friend, this will be a treasured gift.
Sorry for the poor pics, to excited to wait for better light lol
That's a memorable one, Dwight!
Congrats, John!
Heck of a handsome user, Jeff!!GEC only made 13 of the 2007 Cuban Stockmen in pond bone, and I already had a minty one for my collection.
This well used one popped up on my radar, and I scooped it up for a very reasonable price for a user.

Thanks GT. You are correct about Ted owning one. That is where I first saw it and this one was the only other one I've seen. I was very happy to be able to secure it and I was able to download the history that you are referencing. That's a memorable one, Dwight!I think Ted @T. Erdelyi has one just like that, and at some point wrote up a cool history of the gravel company advertised!
