Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Very nice barlows, Brumby! :thumbup::thumbup:
I can't answer your question about Colonials and Imperials other than to say that those knives are very desirable to ME :) Part of the reason I like them is that they fit my budget (so I'm glad they're not hugely popular), and a bigger part of their appeal to me is that those are the kind of knives I grew up with.

Yep Budget is a large part of the reason I like them too.:)

Just arrived today.

Schrade Cutco (Walden NY) EO Teardrop jack, in Tortoiseshell Celluloid (I believe). Age unknown - Tang stamp puts it pre-1946.

Fantastic knife! :thumbup::thumbup:
I've been obsessing over EO teardrop jacks recently, and yours makes it easy to see why. :cool::cool:

I found a Schrade Cut Co two blade folder at a junk mall, it was missing a pin. A little Militec, and it is smooth. Long pull with a swedge. Nice bone, in great shape.

It was a very good week, Madison Barlow in Mammoth ivory, Canal Street Erics Jack and a Mako in Chestnut. I was not going to get a Mako but when I saw the Chestnut I went for one, glad I did.

A few Case Knives I have picked up in January; 1980 A62009 1/2 Barlow at a gunshow three weeks back and a 1987 6392 Stockman and a 1990 Muskrat from a pawnshop this past week. OH

Thank you Jeff, I also thought the color of the scales was nicer than normal for that era, however I should have labeled the knives - it is a 6392. OH

I think that chestnut model is going to be very difficult to find down the road.

...just picked up this USA Schrade from "that auction sight." Overall, construction is pretty good: no liner gaps, good snap on all blades, no blade rub, VERY sharp (yeah, I got bit already). The only complaints would be that the springs sit slightly proud on each blade when open, and a wonky grind on the main clip. Overall, a very good knife for the price; should easily last my lifetime.

Case XX 6204 1940-1965
Imperial 'Whittler' 1935-1952
Pal Blade Co. EO 1935-1942
Picked all of these in the last couple of weeks. The redbone Case is VERY sharp, the Pal is missing a bail, but that little Imperial that looks like a Camillus 72 is VERY intersting- unsharpened, long pull on master and secondary clip and mark side scale is clearjigged acrylic painted to look black, while the pile side is jigged black composite. The BSA shield is set in the acrylic.

Peace and Love
