Nice! I have one that is in good shape, but not as bright as yours. These seem fairly rare nowadays as I cant find many pics or much info online. These were known then as the "post exchange knife" Fantastic score!

I had decided to pass on the Appaloosa Bone variant of last year’s GEC 14, as none of the examples I saw “spoke” to me.

But this particular one did. In fact, it might be my favorite...for today at least.

I agree Joe. Is not a perfect knife, but it’s probably half the cost of a “perfect” one. I really like it. It does also make me appreciate what you get from a GEC. Diminishing returns on the price spectrum...

Well it only took 6 years of searching but I've landed one of my GEC Grails...62 courthouse whittler in burnt stag.

I've owned a couple other 62 whittler's but they just didn't scratch the itch as what I've really been after is that beautiful arched Northfield shield.

I feel like I can rest now.

This guy completely overshadowed another new arrival yesterday as well. New handles courtesy of Glenn....I'm in love with the pile side stag on the 93ot.

I cannot tell a lie. I love this tiny fellow. Camillus Cutlery Co., George Washington 200th Birthday(1932) commemorative Quill knife. Just like the one given to him by his Mother when leaving for his first job as a land surveyor.

This NIB “Steward” from the short-lived Schrade Century line arrived today.

Despite being a fan of both Victorinox SAKs and American traditional knives, I was blissfully unaware of these knives until a week or so ago.

It’s not *quite* up to Victorinox standards of fit/finish, but it’s close...and it was stupid cheap. I like it.
