Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I picked up one of those Case swaybacks in the Tony Bose configuration not too long ago. Case did an outstanding job on them. Overall a very nice F&F, nicely centered blades.
Flyboy's picture composition makes that chestnut bone really attractive.

Nice stuff red05. What maker is the bottom barlow? Can we see more pics of it?

That is a 1995 Case Limited Edition I Smooth Molasses Bone Barlow. The started the limited edition series with this run that were completely unmarked. VERY Collectible these days. They made a lot of them, but nobody knew what they were; now that series has been going for 20 years and there are a lot of people trying to fill in the gaps.

Sorry, clutchcarter. I didn't see your post. Yes, Mike is right. I picked it up since I like barlows and I had intentions of carrying it but this thing is a nail breaker. This is probably the strongest knife I own. It takes a two fingered pinch to get it fully open. I have oiled and worked but it is still tight so it will probably just sit with the rest of my unused knives unfortunately. I can try to get some better pics later.

I waited about oneandahalf months.... and finally the BladeForumsKnife 2012 appeared today on my doorstep. What an amazing knife!!

Pics coming soon

You should try one of these. i have had it sitting with the blade at a quarter open for over a week and it is still a bear trap.

I like those, but haven't been able to source one from the states. In fact, there are a few french traditionals similar to that one, but again I can never find a source in the states. Too bad.

Love the Kabar David but that #85 is one I've been looking for:thumbup:

What a beauty;)

Thanks Paul - they were a fun pair to receive today. You started me on the Ka-Bar train :) - I really love having a knife with a stainless blade that still allows for patina to develop somewhere. The copper is just awesome in that regard.

Thales2015, that 85 EO with the coping secondary is fundamentally fantastic!!:thumbup:
Whoa, that's a superb knife! You got it just today? Gotta be a Wonderful Wednesday for you! :D:p:D
Thanks for the pics!

Shelby Mihalevich Friction Folder :)
This knife is awesome! 3 5/8 handle length and 4 1/8 including the flipper closed. 1084 steel and copper go well together imo.

Thanks Shelby!

Wow, Brett!! :eek::D
I remember you writing how you had some interest in checking out friction folders, but WOW!:thumbup:
You don't mess around, do you? :D:thumbup::D

Received a Smith & Sons Mudbug in Natural Paper Micarta. What a beautiful well made blade. I cannot believe that I waited so long...

Customer Service on this was amazing, quick shipping, beautifully presented.

Now to convince myself I do not need another. Maroon maybe?

Yeah, I jumped and happy I did :)

Ron - Thank you for the compliment. It is a joy to carry. Super thin, just the size I enjoy, needs a touch up on the edge, but overall I really like it.
