Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

This Boker Yukon has some great lines, I like the lowered point especially for food stuffs, mid lockback works great, contour of the handle fits my medium/hobbit sized hand perfectly. There is a hidden lanyard hole which was a nice touch, but boy, it was HARD to thread in the paracord, I had to resort to some very thin cord and even at that, it took a long time and much effort to get it in there. I tried to remove the scales for better access but one of the screws had a bad head and was already stripped out so it was a no go that way :(

compared to an Artisan Centauri, no more comments regarding that as it has a dreaded 'clip' :) and then an SAK Pioneer one of my main stay folders right there!

Here you can see the nice contours of this folder.

So far, I like it quite well, 'Yukon' draw your own conclusions...(see what I did there ;) )

edited to add that while there is a hole in the blade it doesn’t open it very good trying it so just pinch it open

First, sorry about the reflections on the blades
Finally scored a pretty decent Laguiole, horn covers, alligator snap:eek: as a result tiny bit of blade rap near the tip. I'm guessing "orirgine garante" means its actually made in France? Anyways I'm liking it though it feels different from anything else I have.
Also scored a Case centennial 61066ss, this is a big'n for sure! Bit stout in the spring and has the alligator snap as well, as a result, you guessed it, blade rap at the center pin. Not bad though, a bit of rubber or leather will take care of it. All in all a good day :D:thumbsup:

I won this on with an auction bid I thought would for sure lose. I guess the collectors only want the ones with the tube (this one came without). Super snappy and I've never had a 78 that wasn't the epitome of comfort in hand. I'm not sure what to make of the pheasant feather acrylic, but I know some folks who can change it out, if it doesn't grow on me.

I won this GEC #29 Stockyard Whittler in a GAW. Thanks goes to @lambertiana for such a generous GAW (that also included other very nice knives given to other winners):thumbsup::thumbsup:
The photo doesn't do it justice. Wasn't sure I would like the scales but was I ever surprised when I opened the package today. Very eye catching to be sure and the blades look to be very useful. F&F is what you would expect from GEC.

I've had about a hundred chances to get a Camillus 23 but I always ended up getting something else. It's nice to finally have one.

Excellent score. I'd love to find one of these one day, especially in as good a condition as yours is. I've looked for one for awhile, but either they're branded, or else in "dropped out of a plane and landed on ten miles of bad road" condition. The search continues! Thank you for sharing.

My "going to the dogs" Case humpback half whittler arrived today from Andrew.... you guys that skip over his sales, this is what you are missing! VERY nice. Great fit/finish, with a swedge on the main clip, and on the back side of the large pen blade... and a really nice size at 3 1/2" closed. I think Case calls this "red bone". Pretty original name.... even in SS, it's a keeper, I think.

A Boker Stockman in 73 layer damascus and jigged bone. :D

The grind could be better and pull could be slightly stronger, but other than that, the fit and finish is stupendous. Really glad I pulled the trigger on this guy.

I'm not generally a fan of the Stockman design... but that's a beautiful Boker.

I’m with you there. Stockman’s are a bit bigger than I usually go for, but this was too pretty to pass up. They also have a razor jack in damascus that is priced pretty well right now that is tempting me. Boker Solingen has been knocking it out of the park lately in my opinion. In fact, 4 out of my last 5 traditionals have been Bokers (couldn’t resist the Red Trout).

Agreed on Solingen - received a Boxer in desert ironwood as a gift from multiple family members for Christmas. Beautiful grain and color, fit and finish is good to go. But it's a bit big, more a belt sheath knife than pocket knife IMHO. Will probably post a pic in one of the other threads one of these days, as it's not really a new addition.
