Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Makael, I have been looking for one. I have a almost identical one, but the blade is only 2 inches long and the handle is 3 inches long. I have been trying to find if they made a larger version than mine and you have answered that question, Thanks! John

Just found this 1996 Buck 309 at the local knife shop.

Need you an orange Calfpen too ;) nice collection, there's some in that photo I haven't seen before

I have one, the Calf Pen is a fantastic knife! I'm awaiting the arrival of two more GECs dressed in orange and then I'll be happy (for now!). I'll have to get a shot of them all for the Picture Show thread!

Chris Crawford made this “Trump” slip joint a few weeks back. He has been doing some neat shields with his pantograph … but this one is out of this world. Anyway, he was planning to keep it for himself. However, we got to talking and he agreed to let me have it. Politics aside … this is a very unique knife and definitely a one of a kind!!! He is certainly Making Knives Great Again!!

My package from Canada finally arrived a couple days late, but hey what's a couple days!?
Thanks to el gigantor el gigantor for the opportunity to buy these great knives,I was sure I missed out on these.
These are quite amazing imho, the cherry has such rich beautiful color and an amazing feel. I really like the look of the woodland micarta as well and its grippy texture just screams "I'm ready for work!" Built like a tank and locks up like a bank vault and very sharp.

Barley bumped the blade on the micarta opening the other one (yeah stupid to open one knife while holding another open knife) and wouldn't you know it it claimed me;) I am extremely happy with these for sure!

It was a pleasure doing business with you. I'm happy you're happy and sorry about the little slice there. I guess that means it's really your knife now!

After a conversation that took place here on The Porch, I went looking for a cheap, small, lockback knife.
The conversation was about knives you'd lend to non-knife people to cut something. I thought that a knife such as this would be easy for them to figure out, safe in newbie hands, and i wouldn't be heartbroken if they were to damage it. So, this little Boker Jewel will be riding along in my watch pocket for just such an occasion. It's not a bad little knife, decent F&F, decent edge, decent action, reminds me of other Chinese Made offerings. Nothing to write home about but a perfectly functional little slicer.

Got this CV Sowbelly in the mail yesterday. It's my first Case in synthetic yellow and I like it a lot. It always struck me as a budget material so I'd always avoided it for some reason, but my regard for it has slowly changed. It's very smooth and feels very good in the hand, and the colour now reminds me of aged ivory rather than kitchen counter. I hope it ages well and doesn't collect scratches and dirt.

I’m gonna call this traditional

Pfeil craft knife. I reckon these are mainly for woodworking but I got this for leatherwork when I need to do long pulls. It worked like a charm for cutting strap for new dog collar I’m making. The short blade gives great control and the tilted blade gives natural and neutral grip for the knife. Straight blade should make sharpening this thing a breeze.
