The toothpick arrived today. The English Jack a few weeks ago. The bone on these is phenomenal.

Picked up a couple things at the Badger Knife Club show that I’d been looking to get for a while now, so I’ll call that a win. Two carbon steel Schrade USA 5OT’s and a Victorinox Mauser German Army Knife.

It was great getting to look at so many vintage knives in person, and I really wanted to find some nice old jigged bone or stag, but I just didn’t find the right knife. A common occurrence was spotting something that looked perfect on the table, then opening it to find a blade that only r8shell could love.

It really is stunning. I’m finding more and more the liners alone tell you everything about the quality you need to know

I'm very excited to have both of them, I think it's one of Case's best patterns and these are two wonderful examples.

Got this on on friday, just carrying it today. The seller said it was a "lunchbox" knife. What do you all think? Its a great little knife, good action very slight wobble but very much useable, good pull and snap. Any thoughts on the tang stamp? UTICA?

I got a new BFF today! On a more serious note this Boker (not a Barlow) Barlow fixed blade came in today, compliments of JohnDF . I had been eyeing them every time I saw them posted recently here and they were growing in me. I’m excited to have a pocket size fixed blade to add to my rotation and to take on camping trips. Thank you John, you are a true gentleman.
