You have got yourself some nice Rosewood there. Different and unique. Will age beautifully.

If/when they are available I’ll grab one. The reason was to be different from the one I was given. Overall the pattern is more important than cover variations to me. I love using it

I think I last posted in this thread about a year ago when I first picked up some "modern traditionals", a Maserin Plow and a Lionsteel slim carbon fiber Shuffler.

I just received another two... Modernals? Traderns? Lionsteel sim titanium Roundhead and Viper carbon fiber Swayback this time. Once again very pleased with both.

Thought I’d try one of these out. First, it’s a big knife. The fit and finish is very good. No major gaps, pinned shield and the blade is centered and the pull is in the 5-6 range. For $125 I’m pleased with the overall quality. In hand and compared with a #97.
