Great additions gentlemen!I just received this knife as a gift from our friend in France, Jean-MarcĆchillepattada
I am going to have to investigate it more as I'm afraid I don't know too much about knives from France.
I do know it's a very cool mix of working knife and elegance. It has a slim handle, large blade, with a spike on the opposite end.
From my very quick investigation, it seems Shepards would use the spike to poke holes in livestock's abdomens to relieve bloat... pretty cool.
