Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Holy cow, Clutch! That is magnificent! It looks like a toothpick that had a Yukon somewhere farther back in his family tree. Just gorgeous, absolutely killer. I love the big'uns, and a Lloyd toothpick has got to be one of the best blades on the planet! (I should know, Duncan gifted me a slightly smaller one a couple years back, so I have first hand knowledge of the awesomeness.) Two thumbs up!!

I would call this J. Lloyd custom a Folding Hunter. Blade is not the slender profile of a Toothpick. Custom Folding Hunters are quite rare. I bet it would open up a deer and trim out the innards with ease. Might this be in it's future ?
I just re-read Clutch's post. This F.H. is 5 5/8". That is very big. Most F.H. are 5 - 5 1/4", occasionally 5 3/8", so this Lloyd is in a class of it's own at 5 5/8". 1/4" difference in size is a significant amount in folding knives. So this could be an "Alaska Moose" knife (biggest of all the mooses)

And i shall blame Will for getting me into these things!

John Lloyd Lanny's Clip.

We are just getting acquainted, but I can already tell this will be a long term affair :).

Can we see the blade too ? and is the handle Micarta or fossil mammoth or ??
I have a few John Lloyd folders and he makes an excellent knife and the prices are so reasonable that i have no fear of actually using them.

Of course ;). Handles are micarta, this will definitely be a user, a true EDC.

Very nice JL clip Tom! I have one of his a stag spear that I love to carry and use. What is the pull and W & T like on your clip?

Hey Luger - The pull is a strong 5 or a plain 6, I can pinch it open without difficulty. Good walk, very smooth, with great talk, especially on opening. I bet your stag version is a beauty!
