Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Wow, that looks awesome, Todd. Very exciting! I’ve never owned a custom but would like to one day.
Thanks Bart. 😎👍
I’ve been intrigued by these and finally ordered one today. We’ll see how I like it. I’m a sucker for a swayback.

That’s cool, I’ve looked at those many times. I’ll be very interested to hear what you think of it.
Thanks Todd. Its an interesting knife. I'm not sure, but I think it was a Stewart Taylor design. This one is from 1979. He later resurrected the pattern under Schrade when he obtained the name.
The Schrade is the one I’ve seen the most, yours is the first one I’ve seen in stag.
😎👍
From what I’ve heard you’ve set the bar very high with this first custom. Lovely!
Thanks Joshua. 😊👍

I recently received a Case Premier Edition Medium Stockman Knife 3.625" Golden Ruby Corelon (9318GR), to add to my Boker Medium Stockman Knife 3.5" in Brown Jigged Bone (110727). The covers are beautiful, with a lot of depth and reflection of light in them. Apparently it's one of 1200 made, and I didn't notice until I was taking photos.

I'd bought the Boker Stockman in brown bone as a reminder of my childhood knives back in the early 70's, and thought the Case looked spectacular and had to have it. Both are tight and well made, and feel good in the hand, although I chipped a fingernail tonight trying to open the Boker blade on the single end (maybe a little too tight, but I never use that blade).

Both highly recommended.

I was considering purchasing one of these:

I have the one-layer version with just the 2 blades, and I like it but it is too thin for my hand.

Instead, for about the same price, I got a lot of 4 plastic-handled versions, NOS, stamped “Czechoslovakia” on the blade (which should give you an idea how old they are).

2 of them are very good, and 2 of them are perfectly serviceable but have issues with the screwdriver/bottle opener rubbing against the can opener, and even striking the top of it when closing.

I sharpened up one of the good ones, to use while I decide what to do with the others.
