Boker's Solingen-made Barlow with a steel bolster and Grenadilla wood covers is a lovely alternative for less than half the price. It's one of my favorite traditional knives.

A wonderful, generous and thoughtful gift from my friend @RayseM

A puukko made by Ray with the handle made of natural materials gathered in the surroundings around his home (birch bark, antlers ) He also made the sheath and engraved both the knife and sheath. The sheath has a bronze shackle to evoke boating/sailing

Made a Super Duper trade with Mike @mbkr for this Buck 501 Squire with Burgundy Burlap Micart covers, CPM-154 blade steel and BOS Heat Treat. It was the December 2020 Buck of the Month. It's a handsome knife with terrific fit and finish. I traded a GEC #88 Bayou Trapper with Desert Ironwood covers for it. psssst - don't tell Mike but I think I got the best deal on this trade. It was a great trade.
