Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Cory that Ruple is outstanding.
Here's my latest, an older Northwoods with some nice jigged Redbone

Bought this Ruple trapper from Courtney Daniels at the Badger Knife Show yesterday. Beautiful covers, and better fit and finish than any other production knife I've ever handled. I haven't seen too much on these knives here, but I am over the moon about this one.

+ 5K! Cory, congrats on a fantastic score to remind you of your knife show experiences!:thumbup::thumbup:
"Beautiful covers" seems quite the understatement! W:eek:W!! What are they made of? I can't tell if it's gorgeous wood or some incredible kind of horn!

Congrats, RICKSTER!!:thumbup: That's an awesome quartet of super customs! (Way better than even a ton of Snickers. :p)

I recently got this Rough Rider Half Hawk in a trade with Last Rodeo, and he generously threw in a little Kutmaster stockman he had rescued and cleaned up really nicely; thanks, Mike! With him being from Oklahoma and me being from Michigan, I'm glad we got the deal done before Michigan State played Oklahoma in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament! ;)

Thanks For The Kind Words

Thank you all for the kind words.

They are buffalo horn. I am really impressed with it. I dare say this may become my favorite knife.

I need to get some outdoor pics to show off the coloring of the jigged bone. AS you know, these pics do not show the deep red Italian jigging on these knives. Those were just taken with my cell phone.

I'm the last month I got these. The 77 is nice, the swedge is very asymmetrical and the stag is poorly matched. I like this knife though I would have preferred a saw cut clip or sheepsfoot.

The 74 is fantastic I got to really tell you that I love the way GEC does their jigging on the bone. This knife is kicking all the other knives out of my pocket currently, I am living the trapper pattern and I like having a beefy slip joint like this one.

Thanks for the follow-up, Cory. Jack Black has an ox horn handled lambsfoot that just leaves me breathless every time he posts the photo. But I've gotta tell you, your new trapper has moved right up neck-and-neck with Jack's knife in my personal listing of best knife handles ever! Holy cow (pun intended)!!:thumbup::thumbup::eek:

Thanks, Sam! I had the RR "half hawk" on my wish list for quite a while, and planned to eventually order one from the "Coal Miner Series". But then Lost Rodeo offered to trade me the one whose photos I posted, so I took him up on it. The smooth tobacco bone covers on it are the first of that type I had and they are very nice-looking, IMHO. I like the acorn shield, too. Very well built knife - solid.

this was my latest..2004 case brothers "c" copperhead...I don't know how rare it is..ive never seen another one like it though..i emailed case with a picture and they told me to send pictures of box..and all markings and they would look into it for me.....

look closely at the bone..the next couple pics after this one will reveal it a lot better

Picked up a Case Texas Jack in a trade over the weekend at an outdoor skills event. Markings date it as 1984 and stag - real ugly stag. The stainless sharpened up to a real nice edge fairly quick.
