Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Nice soup Lloyd! I picked up a nos Winchester Coffin Jack, and it's a very solid knife. These Winchesters from the late 80's are highly underrated, in my opinion. The coffin is my current favorite pattern, I'm debating picking up a Case/Bose.

I just got this one the other day. It is my first Case/Bose and first Coffin pattern...I definitely killed two birds with one stone. This thing is awesome. Fit and finish is great. Blades are a little thinner width wise than I expected but it didn't take long to get over it!

It's taken several years, countless international phone calls, proxy arrangements, several eBay deals gone sour and a trip to a seldom-visited neighborhood in Havana that I'm lucky to have gotten out of alive, but I finally tracked down one of my "grail knives" - this rare SAK proto:

Congrats, Smithhammer! I love SAKs, and that proto is incredible! It was definitely worth the wait, I'm sure, and to get it today of all days is just icing on the cake!! :D:D

I just scored this Hanwei Rock Creek "Mesa" on an auction site. I'd forgotten I was interested in getting one until I saw kootenay joe's recent post. I took KJ's recommendation. I've heard good things about these from others also.

I wish I had snagged the Hanwei Ron Lake interframe tail lock that AG Russell had back in 2010, but I waited a little too long and lost out.

I expect I'll be happy with this and will report back when I receive it.

Thanks JK! I think.... ;)

Great looking assortement of "old battlehorses" FES. :)
Good to have you back after some time.

Hey Fes, good to see you here  Looks like some good hunting there my friend

Excellent work, Fes! A profitable trip, I would say.

Here is my latest. Just arrived in California today, all the way from Tennessee. (Before that it was in Oregon, and before that it started out in Pennsylvania. Well traveled.)

Hey, FES. Welcome back, buddy! What a great haul you've got, I really like the castrator/bunny knife, and the Spanish spearpoint.

(Hey, could you do me a favor if you have a minute, and pop into the thread I made recently about saddle spring and ring lock knives, and toss in a pic of your huge stag handled navaja? :D )

My first knife purchase of the year. My apologies to Barry (Gunstock Jack) for stealing his image, but this is the specific knife I bought from him so I hope it's OK to use this pic.

Peregrin, the Hanwei "Ron Lake" Interframe that AGR sold and the knife you just won were made by the same company, same factory and blade is the same steel (their own proprietary steel), but likely you already know this.
I used to have the 'Ron Lake' version but gave it to a friend who had helped me out. It is hard to say from memory if the quality is exactly the same, but i can say it is similar. For the $35-$45 that these are going for, they are a very good deal. This is not a 'dainty' knife like a Wm. Henry, but a solid 3 7/8" knife that could serve as a reliable EDC.
I see it as a muscular athletic Gent dressed up in a formal tuxedo. I hope you like it.

Congrats, Scott! Those are awesome little knives. Mine has held a position near the top of my "favorites" list since we had them done up.

Happy to get this in the mail on Wednesday.... Thanks to Bob at Oldhundred....fast & reliable post all the way from the US to Aussie!
A Ripper!!!!
