Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

this was my latest..2004 case brothers "c" copperhead...I don't know how rare it is..ive never seen another one like it though..i emailed case with a picture and they told me to send pictures of box..and all markings and they would look into it for me.....

look closely at the bone..the next couple pics after this one will reveal it a lot better

At one time I had a lot of the the copperhead and trapper versions of this knife; maybe even a muskrat.

knifeswapper....do u have info on them?..limited to how many?..

No, sorry. Even if I ever knew, my memory wouldn't allow retention. I was thinking it was low, but less than 100ea would surprise me. They don't usually do a setup for less than 250, and those are not common.

Nice soup Lloyd! I picked up a nos Winchester Coffin Jack, and it's a very solid knife. These Winchesters from the late 80's are highly underrated, in my opinion. The coffin is my current favorite pattern, I'm debating picking up a Case/Bose.

Had a sit-down with my newest acquisition.

I found a 1 x 2 mm area where the bone is not perfectly smooth to touch. Otherwise it seems perfect. Far more so than I would usually expect out of a factory knife. 😃

This one arrived yesterday.

My newest, folder #3 Scagel. I'm not sure, but I think this type of knife is the reason so many of the dudes in the "olden days" wore suspenders. What a piece of work:D

KJ, pmew is correct...this is the Bark River City Knife, in cpm s35vn. This one has Bastogne walnut burl handle scales.

It's taken several years, countless international phone calls, proxy arrangements, several eBay deals gone sour and a trip to a seldom-visited neighborhood in Havana that I'm lucky to have gotten out of alive, but I finally tracked down one of my "grail knives" - this rare SAK proto:
