Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Seems lately its been open stock Schrade USA pocketknives I’ve been lucking across. This past week a Schrade 233 Serpentine Jack (same knife as the Uncle Henry 833 Prairie Jack). Sitting with it in the display case was a 2013 Herman Williams modified Uncle Henry 834UH Medium Stockman. OH

Two in recently.

Schatt & Morgan mini-congress in black pearl (2007). Stunning IMO

And a teal bone Little Rattler. I immediately and unapologetically ruined resale value by putting on a brushed finish. I left the stripe on the bolsters as well as the swedge polished on the for contrast. A small touch, but I feel like it adds to the visual appeal of an already beautiful little knife.

Mail call Friday. I live fairly close to Shenandoah National Park, which offers some pretty good fishing for native brook trout. Those mountain streams hold a special place in my heart and I knew there was no use trying to resist when I saw a pic of this knife in the totin' thread. I've never given fixed blades much consideration but I know this one will be my new fishing companion from now on. And as a bonus, I already had a matching SAK.

I have that knife and I love it. I think it’s such a cool design. Awesome pictures too 👍
