Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I guess you would call this the Deux Chevaux of knives...

I've had only a passing curiosity about Opinel knives, but I recently watched an episode of Time Team in which they were constructing a replica Saxon flute from (if I recall correctly) an elderberry branch. Dr. Phil Harding reached into that mysterious leather box he wears on his belt and pulled out an Opinel (maybe a No. 8 or No. 9?) and proceeded to do a bit of whittling. A colleague remarked that it was a really sharp knife and Phil responded that, well, a dull knife wasn't much good! Then and there I decided that I needed to try one for myself.
This one (a No. 6 Carbone) arrived yesterday. It wasn't all that sharp, but a couple of minutes on a 1200 grit diamond plate and it was wicked sharp. Looking forward to having a bit of fun with it!

Two are recent trades (Both 92's,.The smooth Ivory bone and Natural Stag with shield) from a porch member, thanks Justin! and the craggy stag minus shield was a purchase.
Stag is very subjective, I enjoy both examples I posted. The craggy stag is probably the most extreme I have in Stag and I love it, as I do the smoother version posted also. Also rec'd a nice deep red Sheepfoot 49 and will post pictures later, thought I'd keep the Eureka's all together.

Three beauties, to be sure! 👍

Received a pair of knives from David Mary Knives this weekend. A 4" Kagitsume with green Suretouch grips, and a 3.5" Wharntastic with blue micarta grips, both in CPM Magnacut steel. The other little DM knife is my Speedy Weasel v0.9 in LC200N steel and Suretouch grips, which I got several weeks ago.

Wharntastic - estimated approx 7" long overall.

Kagitsume - estimated 8" long overall. The Kagitsume was designed as a self defense wharncliffe by David's Martial Blade Concepts instructor Andy Keyworth. Outside of Andy and his crew, I might be the only other person with one so far, if I recall correctly.

Real Beauty, you must've had to trade the world for those o_O😎

These qualify for The Pantheon of the Knife Gods and you've officially overhauled my modest trio of lower Eureka: Ivory Bone MIT, Greenbone Tidioute user and MIT TSA sfo with end cap.

You must be ecstatic, I would be 😻 and an upvote for the year's end .

Many thanks, Will
