Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Festive colors today, the Black Lava peanut is one of this year's Christmas presents from the wife and the gorgeous green pen/whittler combo came recently in a trade with my buddy Quiet Quiet 😁

Christmas gift from my wife,a two knife combo from Rough Ryder. I'll admit I'm impressed with her choice as she's not a knife person. She knows I like RR so bought these. Yes they're made in Pakistan, no they aren't "perfect" I did reprofile the edges. I will cherish these above all other knives I have. I didn't get to do any deer hunting in the last couple years, my New Years resolution is to hunt this coming fall and use these to dress out any deer I'll be blessed with.

There's nothing quite like a gift knife from a loved one. They do look nice

Buckeye Sharp Buckeye Sharp
Very nice! Great find! She don't look like she got much use.
Out of curiosity, how stiff/hard are the blade pulls?

I have an unproven theory or suspicion that lightly used old/vintage/antique knives have a "heavier" pull to open the blades, (say around an "8" or higher) than the same knife that's been used until the blades resemble toothpicks. (I'd guess those have a lighter pull, between "4" and "6".)

This one looks to have been cleaned up a bit but it sure hasn’t been hurt over the years. When I seen it, I thought it was a GEC 15. It’s got all steel construction and the springs are flush in all three positions. Just a wee bit of main blade wobble. As far as the pull, the main blade is probably a 6 with the pen at a 7. It definitely spent many years out of someone’s pocket, probably tucked away in a drawer.

Got my wife a small knife for her purse, a Boker Magnum Jewel lockback with about a 2.15" blade and rosewood handles, but it's too difficult for her to depress the lock and release the blade to close. I also find it difficult, as you really have to get the lock bar pushed all the way down to the covers.

I didn't want to give a SAK because I want her to have a locking blade that wont close on her fingers. So, I have another one in mind for her and this one will be one of my glovebox knives.
