Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Gotcha - I had it pegged as Dragon tooth bark…glad I asked :)

I think that's in the works along with albino jackelope horn. Although, since TC's are technically Tidioutes, I think they will be using interior tooth and horn, instead of bark...

Jackelope....that's a good one! Sugarleaf, that is one good looking knife. I hope GEC will make more of those covers available.

How I miss my baby...

At least I get to see pics of her, and I know she went to a good home. Enjoy that beauty, my friend.

Thanks my friend! I WILL take good care of her! Really appreciate you passing her on to me..

These three all arrived today, although i had to go to the post office and pay $59.68 to get the two GECs released. The #06 Opinel is for carrying in a situation that could result in confiscation. The #61 Congress is for my collection and the #15 Huckleberry ? Well finally i get it, after seeing all the pictures on here and wondering what all the fuss was about, it is darn near perfect, after washing the factory out of it in warm soapy water and carefull drying it was put into picnic duty cutting up baguette, saucisson and apple, needless to say my #66 is not happy about being benched.

:thumbup:Wow, what a mail call! That makes for a great week! I hope you will share some photos of your congress when you get a chance.

So my first ever traditional came in the mail today. Northwoods Fremont Jack. Can't wait to carry it tomorrow.

The Fremont Jack is a great knife and it looks like you chose the top handle material, fine elephant ivory. I have the same knife and one of the best things about it is the easy 4-5 pull strength which i find perfect for this knife.

I carried it today for the first time. I kept it in the KSF leather sheath and it disappeared in my pocket. You are 100% right about the pull strength on it. I like that I can pinch the blade to open it. The ivory scales are absolutely beautiful. The only flaw I can find is a small scratch on one of the bolsters. Any suggestions on how to polish it out?

Simichrome or Flitz.
