Thank you Jeff. The wood is called waboom...indigenous to Africa.Really nice, Bob, what is the handle made of?
Yes, one of those grains hard to capture in a photo.A fascinating grain pattern!

Two fine knives you have there. Grand gesture on Will's partArrived back home from a month away to find a package from WillWill Power waiting for me. It contained two very nice knives. A birch handled mini puukko, with a 2 1/4", blade and an A.Wright Ettrick. I have been carrying the Ettrick for the last couple of days and find it to be a very handy little knife.

Came out fantastic Bob!
Thank you Pete.Came out fantastic Bob!
Thank you Pete.
I like the way Willem toned down the swedge for me.
That's a shame.This one is a nail breaker.
It seemed like th spring was quite tight. I'd try it again, but now I have a new bandaid on the tip of my left index finger (I guess I can try my thumb in the nail nick or switch hands). I HAVE GOT TO STOP CLEANING THE BROKEN DOWN BOX's TAPE GLUE OFF OF MY SHARPEST KNIVES!That's a shame.
Will loosening the pivot screw a small fracion of a turn (1/32 to 1/16 of a turn or less?) help cure the nail breaker pull?

Fantastic trio. Congratulations!Pickups over the last few weeks: Zenith Marshall Wells Hardware Co, Hibbard Spencer Bartlett OVB, and a EC Simmons Keen Kutter sleeveboard pen.
