Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Pictured with a securex sheath, delivered without. $27 without the sheath, another $11 to get the sheath delivered.
I'm not sure I won't return it.

4116 is 420HC with a little moly and vanadium, so tougher, better edge-holding and more rust resistant, pretty good kitchen steel. It's a nice size, too, should get a lot of use.

Thanks. Yes, I'm fine with the steel, and 3.5 mm shouldn't be too whippy. It bugs me that it's shown with a sheath and it's called a hunter, but the sheath is extra.
I like the blade shape.

What a nice knife! If I was a bull, I would be all about this knife, and I would need you to swap over to that fresh blade right before my turn.

Excellent jigging 👌🏼

Spectacular oldie, Paul, love the pick bone!
Thanks, fellas. I had to fight off a few people to get it. Glad I got lucky enough to purchase it.

Thank you.
They seem surprisingly rare.

Back to my CS kitchen hunter, it feels pretty good out of its packaging.

It might be harder to return it now on the grounds that there's no sheath.

I have a CS Roach Belly and Canadian Belt Knife that I use as kitchen knives. The Roach Belly has become my favorite vegetable chopper.

I still haven't bitten on the roach belly, for whatever reason. I've got the Finn Bear, Finn Wolf, and Canadian. I've carried the Canadian as a travelling kitchen knife.
I quite like the western hunter, even though they snookered me out of the $5 sheath. I'll try to make a sheath that doesn't look like I made it.
