Your opinion on Emerson knives?

I love my sgemerson. Excellent build quality, very good ergos, solid lockup etc. Fit and finish is easily on par with my zt's. it actually got me really looking at Emersons lately.

I also like my spemerson Endura

Emersons are good knives,but I wish they would get away from the black G10 and Philip screws which has not changed in almost 20 years...

That's a nice looking one. What brand/model is it? I must be dense today, not getting the SG reference. I should recognize the fasteners.

Southern Grind Bad Monkey. It's Emersonesque bc The owner of the company is a big Emerson fan, so I've heard. I took off the small clip it comes with and put the Emerson clip on.The quality is top notch, no issues at all. I'm thinking of picking up a tanto at Blade show. My only small gripe is the lockup is a tad early for my taste, but I seem to be in the minority with liking late lockup.

I have the spider monkey and even the Vedic basic version is great out of the box
Good s35vn steel, nice CF scales, solid liner lock, great stone wash finish and the wave-like feature works better than I was expecting

Sigh, I've been looking, the prices they're asking for Emersons in Au is a bit much. Looks like it's kemersons or zemersons or maybe enduramersons for me.

I like my Spider Monkey pretty well. For its price I have a few nit-picks but overall it's nice and a good tier above an Emerson in my opinion.

Comparing my Sg spider monkey to my Horseman, I trust my SG more. Especially due to the weak detent on my horseman, some may like it but I am not such a fan of it...
