Your opinion on Emerson knives?

I mostly agree, out of laziness, but I'm willing to take up a jihad-style holy war against the truly evil things in the world. I'll give two examples that I would be willing to launch the nukes over:

1. Vegetarian chili
2. Turkey bacon

Those are two true abominations.
I support you in your war against them.

Ok... and for what it is worth I don't consider you a strider fanboy. You are more of an indifferent knife user to me. With the exception of racist ownership you don't care about the people behind the company.

That's cool. Just don't expect every one to share your opinion.

Short of censorship stopping people from speaking their minds just won't happen.

Sounds about right. :)

I can't wait for the Emerson/Strider collaboration with bearings and a flipper, made in China.
With zombie green scales, and a skull lanyard.
That will be the thread that crashes the internet! :D

Throw in design help by Microtech (er, really ZT) with special help from Jason Brous (er, really that one Polish designer that Brous steals from) and I think you may cause the forums to melt down altogether, yes.

Indeed.
It would be neat to see what abomination would result if that many different designers tried to produce a single knife with input from all of them.

Don't forget Jared west.

What If you take a free one and it comes with a free admission to their 3 story knife museum? :D
Those two companies share the distinction of being amongst the few brands I do not want even a single one of their knives.
Even for free I would feel ripped off.

I believe that other dimension is mainland china:p

I dunno, would it be worth having to put on a space suit to see their level 96 clean room or risk getting accidentally killed by their area 51 level security systems?

Then again, think about the thread you could create if you survived the trip into Jared's imaginary knife factory. It could be epic.

Unless you work for Emerson or something I just don't get how it offends you so much that someone could have a negative opinion of the company. I bought an Emerson, it sucked, the lock failed. I handled some more Emersons and they sucked as well. Are all people who've had bad experiences trolls, or just some of us?

It doesn't offend me how you talk about Emerson knives, or any other knife for that matter. At least you're now speaking of the knives, which is what the OP asked for. It's your incessant ninja and commando trolling comments, punctuated by eye roll emojis simply to be confrontational, that I take exception to. So, I confronted you. You didn't respond to my direct questioning, but you took the generalized troll comment hook, line, and sinker.

So talk about all the faults Emerson knives have, and I'll likely agree with you, but stop with the petulant, self-rightous stereotyping of anyone who might like them. It's tiresome, and ruins a thread that others may be trying to learn something from.

lolwut?

I stand by my commando comment as well. Get over it or keep complaining. I don't care. The " A SEAL carried it!" Says it all. Think what you like,it won't change what I or others say or think. Welcome to bladeforums, opinions are abundant.

Seals carry a HUGE variety of tools and gear, yet only a select few crowds scream "A SEAL carried it, get over it" lol That's why you've taken offense. You sir are exactly what we are referring to.

This was the source of my "lolwut" response. The only question of his I haven't responded to was something along the lines of "show me where anyone said tactical ninjas" . . . and this is coming from the same guy who makes the seal connection. LOL

y'all forgot about the best war of fans vs. haters.......bark river
