Discussing these matters is not a slam at Buck, it's honest consumer feedback that will hopefully help them understand their buyers frustrations and clean up whatever issues are causing this stuff to happen AT BUCK and prevent it in the future.

That had nothing to do with the wrong prices and wrong blade steels being posted on the website.

it is only us here that got that extra 15% !!!
so yes it is only us and there was not any provesion in the computer to give us that discount..

No, there are those of us that also ordered while the prices and steels were messed up to. then had our CC's overcharged,and have had to take time to call to try to get it straightened out.

Go back and look at the earlier threads, when everyone was upset over those mistaken prices being so high, I was one of the first to take the plunge and give the new Custom Shop an order, to give them a try. I think I've been pretty patient with this situation.

I know a Muskrat of a young man (think he's under twenty years old) that does "custom work" that rocks. But I still order from Buck.

If we were really ticked off consumers we wouldn't continue to order.

It really depends on how much of a variation there is in the scales.
Just because the Custom Shoppe offers semi-custom knife options at a reasonable price (now that they corrected the prices), that's no reason for the buyer to just shut up and take whatever Buck sends them.
If they think that it's below standard then there's nothing wrong with speaking up.
In fact, that's one of the best aspects of this forum!

Even Buck admitted that it screwed-up on the pricing.
And if they really fixed the prices then it should be reflected on the website and on credit card statements.
