Your top fixed blade battle knives?

Just got this Carothers light chopper today and it instantly became my favorite fixed blade. It's pretty ridiculous and I mean that in the best way.

Kevlar you say...........

...but Kevlar threads stop a chainsaw dead in its tracks. It's exactly what chainsaw chaps are made of and meant to do: clog the drive gear in the chainsaw.

The solution lies with this man and his chainsaw crossbow:

I'll play...

The big 'uns...HI Tamang and Battle Rat are both quick in hand.

And for feeling stabby...

I guess I don't forsee doing "battle" against kevlar-wearing marauders to protect my family and property. Maybe that's a "Canada" thing. I'm just from Chicago. More of a "hurt some guy who tries to break in then call the cops thing" going on here.

No epic battles, Ragnar.
Hell,Chicago you better have a pump gun and machete!

This guy shipped out for HT/cryo today. I engraved it to reflect its status in my collection so I won't sell it.

Love it CM. ^^^

Slightly larger options, don't mind the crappy jute twine wrap on the top katana; the handle disintegrated ages ago LOL. It's even faster now though FWIW due to the reduced weight. ;):foot::rolleyes:

^^Those are nice. What's the purple/black wrapped blade and the one under it?

If I could hypnotize you through the interwebz, I'd tell you to walk to the mailbox with that Keffeler... (My address on it of course) :)

Check out this sweet bushcraft knife in .198" ATS34 by BladeForums member Austin Goldman. Only thing I did was build a sheath and cut some grippers into the highly polished micarta scales. Not bad at all for $170.

May not look like a fighter... But it will.

CRKT obake, if i had one, i would choose a ko-katana or wakizashi

Cold Steel Natchez Bowie. The one I had in San Mai III had absolutely perfect balance. I have no doubt that if you brought that bad boy down on someone's forehead, it would cleave right to the bridge of their nose.

Can't think of any blade I'd rather have in a life or death situation than a big ass machete
