Your urban EDC, what do you tote?

Do people give you candy?

Sorry. It was just hanging there. I couldn't just leave it.

Thanks for replying. Believe you me, I'd love to ask more questions and continue this discussion, but I believe you may be right, it may be taking things too off topic...probably more a "Gadgets and Gear" discussion.

Agreed. If you ever have questions, just send me a message. BTW, I do get candy in the mask...but the kids always cry when I take it. Just kidding.

Caleb, Caleb, Caleb. Son, I know I'm going off-topic, but I really have to give you some advice. I know I'm an old guy and stuff, but you might want to heed it.

Pro tip...if you provide a link to your YouTube page...someone might use that get your last name, and a video of your face...maybe say one where you freestyle beat box. Then they might use that to find your other YouTube channel, and find...oh...I don't know...a vid of you in your mask. And then use your first and last name to find your town. Not even "Deep Web" hacker stuff. Good old YouTube, Google, and the BF search function. Anonymous no more.

So you might not want to do that.

Or at least clean up after yourself, as it were.

You are such a pro teach me your ways, lol. What you did is called Doxing btw.

Just for kicks, as I live in a suburb and push a mouse for a living:

Wallet
Cruddy phone
Keys with sliver grippers and a photon
Bandana
G-shock Mudman
Fenix E01
Chapstick, lately Burt's Beeswax
SAK Recruit
Blue Bic pen
Might hump around my Opinel 10 tomorrow. I stained the handle dark brown, slathered it with polyurethane, and plan on dropping the point a bit. It turned out really nice, and I just feel like carrying it around.

This statement actually pisses me off. Why not? There are 1,000 uses for an EDC, and metal detectors/ law enforcement should not infringe on your right not even a bit.
I live in the Virginia suburbs of Washington DC. My "urban" carry in downtown DC is an empty pocket. Too many metal detectors and about 100 varieties of law enforcement officers.

HAHA ameteur, i always clean up after myself. My Master taught me this. Along with my lifelong training to be a stealthy guy.

The Op stated he's 14 years old. That pretty much sums up why he would do anything to call attention to himself- including post the statement about the mask, especially here, knowing we're probably more conservative than most. Nice troll, kid, I've seen worse. I drive a taxi, and in it i carry a Cold Steel Recon 1 tanto, bear repellent pepper spray, a tire iron, a 5' piece of log chain, and as soon as my Illinois CCP gets processed I'm tossing the tire iron and the log chain and adding my Sig. I ain't about to shoot someone in the face (about the only and biggest target inside the cramped quarters of a vehicle when turned 3/4 in the seat to look behind you) over the money I carry but I will for sure empty the clip to save my life. I've had to display a weapon twice in 7 years of doing this job, once the knife being opened was enough and another time when I displayed the bear spray and shouted "THIS IS FOR GRIZZLY BEARS IT PERMANENTLY BLINDS HUMANS" the punks hauled ass. I sincerely hope that's the most i ever have to do.

Haha, companies should advertise knives with that statement.

Just entered my 40's so my EDC philosophy is an open book, maybe I'll try wearing a mask out in public for kicks. But a cool one, like the hockey mask from Friday the 13th.

Hey Caleb M. unless your dad is a locksmith, your lock pick set are burglary tools. Don't get caught with them. In some places it is considered a felony.

Go all out and wear a welder's mask, bee keeper mask, or a scuba divers helmet. :D

Really? The cop that patrols my school said they were legal for me to own.

That's surprising to hear cause unless your a locksmith or have some kind of card to carry studying locksmithing, it is illegal here in Michigan! :)

But hey, if you can carry them, more power to ya!

Yeah, I use the to pick padlocks when I have my friends chain me. I do escape art during the summer at the lake. So I get cuffed then chained at the bottom of the lake.
