I just found my DeWalt knife. Organization is not one of my strong suits.

Threw the 'hawks for a little while this afternoon. The CRKT is hard to stick in the target.....it hits, but the edge is a little thick. Trying to learn to throw it harder without spinning it faster....seems to work when I can do it.

now that i spend $$$$ on teeth, and have a steady job again, going to have to talk to the man about some beeradashi :D

I have a question for those of you smarter than I... Which is pretty much everyone.

Nitecore=Chinese
Fenix=Chinese
Surefire=US? <-- Is this true? Surefire is US Made?

yup, which is why they were slow to market, and more expensive, and not necessarily the best or brightest or ...

but they fulfill a govt need, so :D

i threw the Estwing double-bit a little today, just an experiment. not a bad little chopper too, and it splits better than i had a right to expect.

i like that it's all metal. standard Estwing grip. it's nifty :D

The box for my X300 says:

"Designed and assembled in the USA of domestic and foreign components. This product qualifies as 'American Made' under the Buy American Act."

And no, I'm not trying to imply that chinese made means it's crap... Before someone comes and accuses me of that.

What I'm saying is if it's chinese made it's crap... WAIT! NO!

I signed up for a new forum today, I don't know how long I shall be sticking around there. I posted up a "New Guy" thread, and it has to get approved by a member of the mod-staff before it becomes visible?! WTF!!!!!!!!!! What kind of bullcrap is that!

They don't trust you, as well they shouldn't.

In other news:
Bailey's on the rocks, out of a mug that my sister made in 2003. Nice night here for a fire. Right around 30* atm.

Granite, that sounds like a nice evening.

The wife and I are in Chicago this evening. We're only 3 hours away, she found a good deal on a room, so we decided to run up for an evening... We went out and saw some Christmas lights, the German market, etc... Then I stuffed myself with some pizza & beer and waddled my fat & happy ass back to the hotel.

NICE! I miss home. I'll be up there in January for the boat show, and again in February for the NAIAS. However my version of finding a "cheap hotel room" is unlocking the door to my apartment :D

Drinking beer on a saturday afternoon, eh?

I wish... Been drinking a lot more lately, but waited until evening for a local IPA. Meh - it had a rather bitter aftertaste, much like a grapefruit.

now that i spend $$$$ on teeth, and have a steady job again, going to have to talk to the man about some beeradashi :D

I know a guy. He'll want to know if you're left or right-handed.

Birudashi... I actually like that mine is a bit different (don't have the bottle opener)

That was a nice one. Not sure how many exactly that size will get made - right now it's full-size and tin-size.

Hey daizee, I've been playing with that little Bird and Trout on the strop this evening. Trying to featherstick some hair.:D

In the interest of full disclosure, I hold the hair between my thumb and finger, so it isn't free hanging.

Still, I can't believe how sharp this A2 gets.
