Zero Tolerance 0550/0551 Goodness

I think that is about the lowest Gen2 I've seen. So there were only about 2500 Gen.1s made.

Nice!!!! I really like the 0550/0551 model best myself and am hoping to get as many models as I can

Great info here. I'll play. This is my pride and joy right here. Given to me by none other than the man himself, Thomas Welk. What a real dude.

Not the best pics, but I just put on my carbon fiber scale today from
Bella that I've been putting off forever because I would have to retie the lanyard...will post pics of it later

I love my 550 so naturally I think this thread is freakin awesome as well

The 0550 is a fantastic design. Extraordinarily smooth opening and closing, and it makes a very solid and satisfying "thwack" sound when it locks open. 0550BLK #0081 checking in...

I love the look of the 0550 with a DLC blade. I'll have to decide between a blackwash or plain black blade. I'm broke right now, so I have plenty of time to think it over :)

Haha thanks for the confirmation, Dave! This thread is making me appreciate my 0551 even more...

I get to join now :D My first ti frame lock, or ti anything lol I have a gen 1.5 :D If you're not sure what that is then google it  Mine has a gen 2 scale and is drilled for both clips tho, so I guess mine is a 1.8? :p

nice collection RamZar! i saw the first photo and thought I'd say "bet you don't have an orange 0550", and then i saw the 2nd photo. dammit! :p

Absolutely love mine! Gen 1.5 serial #0965. Did I mention I love it?!

Here is my 551 Elmax - serial number 0317 with custom ranger green scale. Sorry I know this is a 550/551 thread, but the only picture I had of it on photobucket also included these other ZTs. Ignore those other two.

I had to get in on this. I love my 550. One of the widest folders I have (even more so after the scale I put on it) but it is an awesome knife and feels great in the hand. The great grip is great for outdoor/weekend use so I will be keeping it around for a while.
