i saw the name come on the forums here checked out their website and and wondering, what the quality is for zombie tools knives. if anyone can help me i would appreciate it.

Ka-Bar has a new line of Zombie Killer knives. They come with neon green handles and black blades.

They use 5160 Spring Steel, not bad, just a very common type of sword steel and as you mentioned the fact that it is made in US does make me feel a lot more comfortable if I'm to make a purchase.

Maybe you can get one, take it out to the bush and tell us how it performs!

Looks like junk designed for people who hope to live in a video game world because they can't handle the real one.

hah these are some wicked blades.. plus the names are hilarious (Mark III Urban Bone Machete)

definitely something for fantasy sword enthusiasts

Or unique, functional weapons that some people might enjoy. I don't see any need to judge other people's tastes.

The website and knives are fun designs. I'm sure the pieces make good conversation pieces and hell, like I said in the Ka Bar ZK thread, sometimes zombies just need killin!

Not really thrilled by the Aluminum slabs they use for the handles, but they don't seem to be of poor quality. If I were to order something from them I would send them a block of Micarta or G-10 to make the handle slabs from. They definitely have the appearance that they are trying to draw a "certain crowd". 5160 and made in the USA sounds pretty good to me, but I would want to see some cutting demonstrations before I purchase.

I think they all look sweet. But for the price that they want for some of the larger blades I think I would invest in a Busse, Scrapyard, or Esee ect. Just me. Now if I had money to blow thats another story.

haha I just took a look at the website. I think their products look great!! if your into the zombie books, movies etc then their blades totally make sense. I do wish they had a couple more knife designs on top of all the machete blades though.

Waste of money in a very extreme way.

There really isn't such a thing as a practical and useful edged weapon unless you're a soldier or cop, etc.

What are you going to use it for other than playing zombie apocalypse in the basement.

For what the are the are extremely overpriced.

I'm not going to change my opinion.

Those blades are stupid, and they are geared for those who wish they lived in some fantasy made-up world. I wonder how many D10 damage they'd do to a zombie?

This is a knife forum. Not a fantasy forum. Plenty of those for video-gamers and role-players to go to.
