Zombie Tools knives Quality

i too would rather get a normal finish on the knife, my plan is to get the squid axe(its the fist sized one) because it looks quite functional for everyday use, and its only $75 which isnt bad.

It's like a lop-sided ulu! So tiny! :D

I just think it qualifies as a rather unusual ulu variant than an "axe." Looks like it could be pressed into utility work just fine though.

Quote from the Zombie Tools website:

"The intentions of the Squid Ax are clearer: when grasped in the hand, the Squid Ax transforms your naked monkey mitt into a fist full of f*ck-yeah."

:eek:-->:confused:-->:p-->:D

'Nuff said.

I own a Squid Axe and a Reaper.

I bought them mainly because no one else had done any reviews of any of their products.

I was going to chime in here, but with the way this thread is, no one would see it with all the insults flying back and forth.

Maybe I'll start a new thread with my ideas on their quality and ask that only people with experience with their products give opinions...

I, for one, am very curious. Please fill us in!

Please do. :)

If the whiners and the trolls show there, too, just hit Report Post and I'll clear them out.

yes danbo please chime in, i think the trolls have left the thread (crossed fingers:D) so please tell us how the squid axe is.

DanBo, please offer your insight. I have a interest in one of their blades and would like to hear some user feedback.

Danbo i would also like to hear an honest review on these knives/swords, ive been very interested in them for awhile now.

I'd like an informed opinion on these blades to, first hand experience is always very welcome.
If you do make it in another tread could you post a link here ?

Never owned a zombie tool knife. I do like a few of their models appearances. What concerns me is that they have aluminum handles I am sure to cut back on weight but it makes me wonder how comfortable that will end up being on the hand if one actually tried to use it them in a camp setting.

When killing zombies, comfort takes a back seat. These are ZOMBIE KILLING TOOLS designed with fantasy in mind! FYI...zombies do not exist, therefore the creators of such a "tools" have carte-blanche to design it any way they please. It's fun and creative, and an amusing use of disposable income to those who can afford it. It's like going to a stand-up comedy show, with the added benefit that you can own the joke indefinetly, and tell it every time your buddies come over. The day the joke is lame, you can sell it!:D

By the way, I personally own two of thier models, the Vakra and the Deuce. I have been thinking of doing a review for you guys. Until then, know that they are very solidly constructed and well heat treated and tempered. You can actually use them in extreme ways without damage or destruction to the product.

I, personally, would love to hear about the Squid Axe. It just looks fun. That's a good enough reason for me to want to hear more. Lay it on us, DanBo!

I like 'em. I'll pick one up @ The Blade Show unless I pick one up before. Kinda hesitant though until I get a feel for them. The BK9 is probably gonna be my next fixed blade. Dont have alot of fixed blades other than 2 ka-bars. Guess i'll continue my trend....and then again I may stray and pick up a Busee.:p
